A lawyer who describes this description of due process as

“Banana republic” should sue his law school to get his tuition back - he no longer knows what “due process” in a democracy looks like. If somebody walked up to Trump and shot him in the head because they didn’t like what he was saying, JM would be 100% right.

What happened here is a hearing where lawyers for both sides made their case, a ruling will be handed down, and the accused has to…change absolutely nothing about what he’s doing, except to avoid bashing or threatening those who may play a part in his trial, if he loses.

A lawyer who got his money’s worth from an accredited law school would not label that as “banana republic”. Unless perhaps he got his degree from the U of Moscow.
