That’s right - I agree. But for the first time in history, our peaceful

Transfer of power was disrupted by the incumbent at the time, who used his office to try to overthrow the results of the election. That’s obviously not something to celebrate, and if we want to get back to taking transfers of power for granted, this solemn moment is completely necessary.
