As all the responses below basically ask, what makes this boycott
Special to you? Obviously, a boycott could hurt people of all stripes while also protesting whatever it is it’s protesting. InBev is staffed mostly by straight people, but I don’t recall anyone expressing concern over their plight in the crossfire.
If you believe South Africa ultimately had to bow to global economic pressure to end apartheid, don’t you also believe that some of the very people the boycotts were designed to help suffered from the economic pressure before the country capitulated?
If you think FL is actively reviving the mythology of benevolent bondage in America, how on earth could descendants of actual slaves support that state with their convention business? They take their business elsewhere (helping people of color there), while doing their small part to end the offending educational practice, which would benefit everyone in FL.
