Don't think I have read that, but read another on those raids. If I recall


There were two waves of bombers that were supposed to come in one after the other but due to errors in timing and navigation it came in from different directions at the same time. The legend I heard was that a German Commander was in awe of the daring, coordination, and genius of the operation not knowing that it was a complete screw up.
