So you’re right about processing ballots as they’re received, which would certainly improve timing. You’re wrong about deadlines for different types of ballots. That’s just another false attempt to cast doubt on elections - the primary trumpublican platform plank.

What’s magical about next day results? The idea should be to maximize engagement of citizens in the voting process, and then to get the count right. Stronger turnout is nothing but a positive for our democracy.
