Yeah, I get that, but social media has really messed

with a lot of people's heads. Most of the poorer Trump supporters are literally voting against their own interests with the GOP. However, I'm just not sure that our brains have adapted yet to the onslaught of social media and 24 x 7 news, so in my more generous moods, I have a little pity.

As I've posted before, I have a HS friend who is a really nice guy in most respects, but he has been completely brainwashed. He's working a slightly more than minimum wage job, has no healthcare, refuses Obamacare and wants Trump to "take over" for a few years to straighten things out. He's also surrounded by family members who are all in the cult. We don't talk politics, since I don't feel like humiliating him.
