Yeah from the pics the beaches look similar. Our family vacationed on

Hilton Head every year from 1967 to 1975. As you can imagine, particularly at the beginning there wasn't much there; Port Royal, where we stayed, on the north end of the island, and Sea Pines on the south end. Yeah, mostly beach and golf as you noted.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, Isle of Palms is more like a suburb or maybe an extension of Charleston itself? Do visitors stay in hotels/resorts or rent houses? It looks pretty nice.
