Well that seems like an incredibly stupid and waste-of-time way to consume


information.

Why would you not read information and factor in the source's historical bias and factual credibility to determine how much weight to give that information, and weigh it against other sources based on the same criteria?

NPR, for example, is slightly left of center and very strong credibility of being factual. It wouldn't be wise to assume everything from NPR is 100% without any bias at all or that something on NPR could never be later proven to be not true. But on the overall scale of all media, it's close to as least-biased and most-factual as there is.

Dinesh D'Souza is a criminal, lying, propagandist grifter. He's about as most-biased as they come and well known for not telling the truth.

Who in their right mind would give equal weight to those sources, or not care which source the information came from when trying to figure out the truth?
