Is it my business if…

…my neighbor across the street kills my next door neighbor? No, it’s not. Should there be laws against that?

Is it my business if a John Dillinger-type robs a bank? No, it’s not. Should there be laws against that?

Whether I’m directly involved in a crime is irrelevant. What matters is whether someone’s rights are being violated.

In the case of abortion, many people believe that at some point — whether conception or late term — the being has rights, and society must protect those rights just as it must protect the bank’s or my neighbor’s.

You just keep going around in circles saying the being isn’t a person so it has no rights, but that’s just your opinion, so round and round you go.
