In addition to being censored, they were then dismissed elsewhere by the story being covered in the context of it being Russian disinformation, which just fed the previously false narrative of Trump/Russia collusion than the actual story of Biden corruption. Arguably, a devastating story to Biden's chances may have ended up being a net negative for Trump given how it was covered. It was outrageous interference in an election by both the media and the intel community.

Second, it doesn't surprise me that the left feels like it's persecuted by the media, but that is nonsense. That's like Duke fans complaining about not getting all the calls.

Just to focus on the particulars of the blog you linked, the ACTUAL story here regarding the jobs report is that government -- and almost entirely Dem-run governments -- monkeyhammered the economy with their insane COVID policies.

No one in their right mind buys that line of bullshit that Trump "lost" jobs during his tenure -- everyone knows the economy was thriving until the government intentionally crushed it in 2020. And no one in their right mind credits Biden for "creating" jobs that were intentionally destroyed by Democrats to begin with. If you're wondering why Biden isn't getting credit for the "jobs recovery", it's because people understand that there's no value in digging a hole and filling it back up.

So, while you site this story as Biden not getting the credit he deserves, I'd site it as the opposite: Just another example of the press covering for Dem malfeasance -- in this case regarding their destructive economic and COVID policy.

I will grant you that the media is cynical and typically focuses on the negative, so it's somewhat reasonable for Dems to feel that Biden is not getting a fair shake. I think back to the Clinton years, and the press was merciless in going after the Lewinsky story (after spiking it initially), but how could they resist? Of course, once Clinton's political fortunes began to wane, the press rallied around him and changed the story to be Republicans' prudish obsession about sex rather than Clinton's abhorrent behavior, including lawbreaking.

In any reasonably fair world, the Biden laptop story would have been treated as an absolute bombshell. Even if the laptop had belonged to, say, Prince Charles, it would have been a major story covered by everyone, dug into in great detail, etc. Instead, it was suppressed and then lied about in the few weeks left before a presidential election because it helped the left's eternal boogeyman.
