Ukraine with weapons deemed offensive, particularly since everything Ukraine is doing in this war is self defense. And they do need to be able to deal with long range Russian weapons on their soil.

I agree with not implementing a no fly zone, and I disagree with Kasparov in that he never once mentions that what may appear as “appeasement” of Putin is recognition of the reality that he has his hand close to the nuclear trigger. I object less than you to Biden’s statements that Putin must go, because I do think that sends a message to Russian elites that Putin makes them a pariah - agree with Kasparov there. But we and our allies will not instigate a war of regime change in Russia, and I think everyone including Russia knows that.

I would not try to force an unpalatable agreement on Ukraine, and as long as they want to fight to keep all their territory, I’d be for providing them with the weapons to do that. If they decide there’s a deal to be had involving ceding territory, I also wouldn’t stand in the way of that.
