this is something states could do if people are interested instead of federal government.
There are also lots of types of insulin out there - some work better for some people than others. Presumably some are more expensive to manufacture than others as well. Perhaps instituting a complete cap on all insulin would mean that some of those more expensive ones to manufacture are simply no longer available.
It sounds great, but the devil is always in the details on these things. If states are already experimenting with ways to do this why do we need a single federal solution?
