My heart breaks for them too. I have known several, including a family

member, that have gone through it. I was front and center at the school board meetings when it was an issue for a child at my kids school, that later went on to SCOTUS. I posted my thoughts at the time, and have many times since. (and they couldn't be further from the disgusting characterization of me you posted) The suicide rates for these kids are downright frightening. These kids (and adults) need compassion, empathy, and support.

This isn't "tyrannical rule", that's patently absurd. This is the state being able to step in on behalf of the child if there is any psychological (or physical) abuse involved. How you can't fathom that possibility even existing, astounds me.
