Matt, you would be the first in line suggesting parents should be

investigated for child abuse if they refused to get their kid a vaccine. Or if they got their 16 yr old a boob job, or shamed them into getting a nose job. Or if a parent kept Suzie from getting an abortion. And rightly be there if they beat the chit out of the kid.

But investigating for possible child abuse if they get their son's penis lopped off..........that's government overreach!

Never mind the stupidity of claiming this means "Texas is investigating Trans kids", nobody should be getting gender reassignment surgery under 18. But if they do under 18 with parental permission, we might want to make sure nothing abusive is going on.
