Hypotheticals are useless, so I just go with what we know; that Trump while


in office shamefully kissed up to Putin, and every other dictator in the world who told him how beautiful he is. We know that Trump's business interests have massive ties to Russia, that they used Russian banks for financing, that Russian oligarchs lease his buildings. We know that Trump spent four years trashing NATO and even threatened that the US would leave NATO which, intentionally or not, was an assist to Putin's objectives in Europe. We know that Trump predicated arms to the Ukraine on a quid pro quo of getting dirt on a domestic political rival. We know that Trump encourage Russia to hack his political opposition. We know that Trump has already been praising Putin as Russian armor rolls into Ukraine. And, of course, we know that Trump resisted a peaceful transition of power.

I discount whatever Trump or his sycophants say about how he would have handled this situation. My own opinion is that it might not have happened at all as long as Trump continued to act in Putin's interests. So fuck Trump and fuck the hypotheticals. Based on what we know, Trump doesn't belong anywhere near the reins of power in the United States. Period.
