But the problem is, as we're seeing, the payouts are going to be disproportionate. The argument was never for players getting ass tons of money for their name. The argument was that some kids had zero walking around money and were not allowed to hold down jobs due to their commit. So you had actual kids starring at schools but going without meals and stuff like that. This is out of control and it's also very questionable. I think oversight is little.

I didn't read Junction Boys but I watch the little made for tv movie, it was quite good, I thought.

As for the NFL, it's bored me to tears for years. Once the West Coast offense and 3/4 became an overwhelming thing, I got pretty tired of watching the same exact offenses and defenses in every game. And watching 8-12 minute drives that end in field goals. Eat clock, kick FG, rinse, repeat. Obviously the outliers offensively are the teams with the best QB's, lines and skill players. But it's all the same stuff.

In college and high school, you don't know what offense or defense you'll see from week to week. It's just way more entertaining to me. And up to a few years ago, these kids were playing either for the love of the game or to make it to the NFL. Now you see kids opting out of bowl games and shit like that. I wouldn't draft anyone who did that.
