I imagine states and local school boards might be. Yet some death wishing governors prohibit localities from taking action. Why is THAT? That's the problem, not the Federal government. The Federal government is requiring vaccines for the military and at least tried mandating vaccines for all employees and contractors. They have the power to do that. Maybe, just maybe, they don't have the power under the law to mandate vaccines for medicare recipients. They certainly don't have the power to mandate that all residents of retirement homes in Florida get vaccinated. Maybe Ron can do that. So the federal government is pretty much doing what it can while they are getting undermined every step of the way by governors that outlaw vaccine passports for cruise lines, give supplemental unemployment benefits to people that lose their job because they refuse to get vaccinated, etc. Why are people like Deathsantis and Abbott so adamant to keep hospitals full of covid patients?
