Another example of the libs missing the forest for the trees

Clearly didn't matter if it was real or not - it became a proxy. For school systems that failed students and teachers last year (I was on this very board railing about that last year), to excessive wokeness (a turn-off to everyone except the most ardent wokesters), to perhaps any number of issues (maybe it was a dog whistle to some).

But I feel safe saying that not everyone that voted for Youngkin was duped into believing that the schools are teaching CRT to 2nd graders. I also feel safe saying that not everyone that voted for him believes we should be banning Toni Morrison books in public schools. Hell, plenty of people who voted for him aren't even parents. The point is that he found a collection of messages that struck a chord and a clueless opponent.

I'm guessing the lefties will continue to say "but, but, but, CRT isn't real...", and will do so at their own peril. I also hope the GOP learns from this as well. The party doesn't need Donald Trump to win in places like Wyoming and Alabama, and he keeps them from winning in places like VA, NJ and now GA. Move on - the GOP in VA found a solid candidate that clearly resonated.
