Agreed. That’s the story here IMO, along with finding exactly the right

dog whistle, the one that would make the Trump wing say he’s one of us while also appealing to the suburban moderate.

Frankly, after Trump ‘24, which I think is inevitable and which I think will fail, Youngkin ‘28 has real viability. He’s WAY smarter and more appealing than DeSantis. And the path forward nationwide is through winning the hinterlands by a huge margin while losing the suburbs no worse than 45-55. Exactly the job he just did.
