The new soldier field has no soul......

plus it lost its status when they renovated. Look at who your compete with and tell me if "soul" wins you championships?

Dallas, Zona, LA, LV, SF, NE, Miami, Seattle, Minn, GB, WFT etc.....all of these guys have built new stadiums and/or adjacent facilities for the fan experiences that the Bears cant have at the current location. Heck, we couldnt even get the star wars musuem on the lake because of these lake front lobby groups...... also many of the teams I listed above are now so far away from the city they present (and lets not talk about the NY teams that play in NJ LOL) and had stadiums that were just as important or had history for these teams.

Soldier field was at the lake long before the Bears ever came and its like say Wrigley to the Cubs or Green Bay's stadium to the packers. Bears moved there in 70/71 and were the Bears before they moved there. Look NY yankees tore down their stadium for $$$$$$......we are now in an era where money rules and soul/history etc are just that.....

I would prefer to stay at the lake, but I cant fault them for doing what helps their bottom lines, helps them land FAs, and saves players from injuries.......I think the current ownership intends to sell when Virginia passes away and the easiest way to pocket and extra billion dollars is to have a deal in place to move to arlington park.....no matter what deal they make with the city, the needle may move 50million up at best in networth......
