GOP Congress are the ones that stripped the funding of the risk corridor

Out of the budget. Once that happened, insurers couldn't accurately determine their exposure from the policies offered on the exchanges, so they raised the premiums or pulled out altogether. Five years later, the Supreme Court determined this was unlawful. So, the Government now owes those five years worth of corridor payments (with interest) for those that were still offering policies and the people that held them paid all those higher premiums and it wouldnt have been necessary had Republicans not pulled that BS move.

I'm actually shocked this didn't get more play during the campaign. Completely wasteful just because one party thinks providing health insurance to poor people is an evil thing.
