More seriously what will happen is women of means will travel to get abortions. Poor women will be forced to have kids they can’t afford. And the gop will still insist on abstinence only teaching.

I personally hate the idea of “abortion for convenience” and would like to see the number of those be zero The good news is abortions have come way down over the last 30 years. As uncomfortable as I am with abortion, I also can’t get comfortable telling a 6 or 8 week pregnant woman that she must carry the baby to term or face criminal penalties. That would align us more with the shithole countries in the Middle East than it would with any other developed nation.
