said the US Postal Office has the capacity to handle the volume. The issue is on the "last mile." Districts relatively new to the process will have to prepare for the increase in volume. That said, we're in the middle of a pandemic. These are extraordinary circumstances. We have little to no choice.

As for Trump's claim that absentee ballots are fine, but mail in ballots are not ... it's an outright lie. The verification process is virtually the same, if not exactly the same. Trump is after states who have a great deal of experience in mail in ballots such as NV, CA, OR, and CA. He never mentions Utah ... a state that encourages mail in voting. Also, Trump falsely claims Florida's absentee voting is perfectly fine not knowing that mail in votes are exactly the same in that state. Finally, Trump falsely claims states send out ballots when it's actually applications. Trump got clowned by the Michigan DA for that comment.

Ultimately, it's about improving the infrastructure to handle the increase in volume of mail in votes ... not fraud as Trump claims. Trump and his sychophants are trying to limit votes ... not to find a solution in a middle of a pandemic. Voting is an American right. Every American should be allowed to do vote safely.
