Even Chuck Grassley called out Trump for intimidating the whistleblower. When the President of the Umited States calls you a spy and literally states that he/she does not deserve whistleblower protection ... what would you do? Remember, the whistleblower law is Chuck Grassley's biggest legacy in the Senate. This is not some Deep State Conspiracy. It's the equivalent of President Sullivan, Blanket, and Armpit calling out Jackie if the Rolling Stone article proved accurate. The complaint has been mostly accurate. Would you feel safe on Grounds if President Sullivan and an entire fraternity was after you? We ripped on Sullivan for not doing anything to protect the Phi Psi from the demonstrations. Why don't you say the same now?

The bottomline: Schiff is just playing by the rules Trump made up. There's nothing illegal about it. And let's not forget, it was the Republicans who changed the rules regarding subpoena power withing Congress. Only the majority have it. They only have themselves to blame.

You can't have it both ways. The Republicans made the rules. Now they have to live with it. If you still have a problem, complain to Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley, and Donald Trump. They changed the rules. Furthermore, the transcript, texts, indictment, testimonies, and the use of highly classified servers, supports the complaint. The whistleblower isn't really needed anymore.
