Political Correctness Run Amok - Maine Republican politican won't support


honoring Union veterans because it does not show enough respect for the Confederacy.

Now we can't honor Union veterans without also honoring Confederate veterans? This is Maine...they fought for the Union and this bill was to honor one of their proudest units. Conservatives are trying to use their present political values to re-write history. Just political correctness.

What's next? We need to honor the Nazis at the 100th Anniversary of D-Day?
