more Swedish bikini members would be nice. But I consider most of the Middle East to be a total joyless 'shit hole' of backward thought and medieval superstition. I'm happy to welcome people escaping such an intolerant, backwards environment, to make a better life here, but when you have majorities of people from these countries who believe in stoning for adultery (only the women of course), death for blasphemy or apostasy, jail time or worse for homosexuality, etc, I don't know that I want masses of people from those countries coming to the US either. If that makes me wrong... I don't really care.

Putting aside the laudable religious freedom aspect of the founding of our country, I don't know why we hold religion in the same regard as race, gender, age or other immutable trait when it comes to protections against discrimination. If your religion tells you the punishment for adultery should be to smash the offender in the head with a stone to crush their skull and kill them, I should be free to tell you your religion sucks and to have nothing to do with you specifically as a result of your stupid religious choice.
