Maybe a bigger threat. My view: there have always been issues about which we talk past each other. Shouting matches, often arguing different things. Like abortion. One side says it's about the beginning of life, the other, women's rights. People frequently just yell at each other. Whadayagonnado.

Now, it seems like every issue is that way. I take for granted that Wax doesn't really wish harm on others and is thinking about this in the abstract. But still, we can't travel down the path of wishing others physical harm. Over politics. At a minimum, we have to stay on the right side of that line.
