Thanks. So taking those questions at face value as representative of

the political spectrum (I don't really think they are, but working with it) the breakdown is:

(minus = more liberal, plus = more conservative)

1) Regulation: L -16%, R -1%
2) Govco Waste - L -14%, R -5%
3) Sympathy for the poor - L -26%, R +2%
4) Budget for helping poor - L -13%, R +11%
5) Corporate profit - L -11%, R -2%
6) Opportunity for African Americans - L -25%, R +9%
7) Immigration - L -50%, R -20%
8) Homosexuality - L -29%, R -21%
9) Military - L -15%, R +9%
10) Environment - L -9%, R +17%

You can tell a few stories that might or might not be accurate, but the primary takeaway I see is the strongest drift left is on social issues- racism (significantly more L's think things have gotten worse, R's think they've gotten better) and immigration (both sides moved more liberal significantly, but L's by 50%). The strong moves to the left from L's seem to occur between Obama and Trump or close to the time of Trump's election. Culture wars.

Maybe you could include climate w/ culture wars even, the issue as it's discussed takes on that dimension- L's moved -9%, but R's moved +17%.

Helping the poor is also significant- R's concerned with budget and skeptical govt can help, L's don't agree. I think phrasing it as "the poor have it easy" is not a great way to put that question and inherently gets a lot of disagreement from L's.

There are notably no questions that attempt to parse health care, middle class economic issues, or interventionism more specifically.
