You are probably the strongest critic of McCain on the board.

I'm fairly pro-McCain. I think he got more right than wrong and I will miss his orneriness in Congress and his humor and his demonstrated ability to forgive.

All that said, I offer you a sincere hat tip at being able to honor him by at least having the discipline to stay quiet during this week of McCain's remembrances. The passing of someone is, in my opinion, the most appropriate time to apply our mothers' axiom that if one cannot speak well of, one should not speak.

So, I'll just end this short commentary by thanking you for not raining on the parade this week as I'm sure, given your strong opinions, your tongue must be bleeding for all the biting the poor thing received this week.
