I agree with everything you said, especially the last paragraph. I guess


for me, exposing his slimy corrupt administration for what it is doesn't really change my view of Trump, nor does it change yours I suspect. And unfortunately, I still don't think it will change the view of his hardcore supporters either. That's my main point... if this all ends in associates going to jail, but Trump walking, was anything really accomplished (from a political victory standpoint)? You and I still think he's a POS, and the Iceman still thinks he's god. And Trump is still president (hopefully to be voted out in 2020)

That's not to say the Mueller probe shouldn't have happened, but I don't think it's some great victory for the anti-Trumpies either...

I don't know, I guess I thought the end game for all of this was Trump being impeached, and maybe it still will be, but it's starting to feel like it's going to be a bunch of associates in jail, with Trump remaining in office and his supporters still steadfast in their support for him.
