one way or the other? is this revealing something about theDonald's character that we didn't already know or suspect?

yes, perhaps there was some violation of a campaign finance / reporting provision. gotcha! so what now? file charges and press for impeachment? because he cheated on his wife with a playmate and / or a porn star (undoubtedly there are many...) and paid to keep it out of the papers? the most likely scenario, IMHO, is that the whole thing continues to divide and distract; while there are much more important issues for the press, the analysts and the public (at least those that don't completely subscribe to one party's talking points- and there are many out there) to focus on. hell, it could *help* theDonald in some respects.

what I would find funny, though, would be Melania deciding she's had enough and leaving theDonald. seeing that sitting president served with divorce papers would be hilarious. that said, I'm guessing she's known about this for a while and has agreed to 'terms' with the Donald just like the others.
