Trump's twitter and press assault has worked. ESPN leadership has now released a memo telling its workers to not be political.

This is incredibly disturbing. The President of the United States is using all of the informal power of the Presidency (the bully pulpit, being put on a disfavored list for any lobbying) because he did not like what a private person said.

This is trampling free speech. The government should not be weighing in on political speech like this.

We must stand up for free speech because it is under assault.
