Just curious where the double standard is.

I assume you are comparing Hill to Schilling?

My understanding is that ESPN fired Schilling because it was committed to diversity and Schilling's twitter violated that commitment. It was not firing Schilling because he had a political tweet. It fired Schilling because he had a political tweet against a group that ESPN had committed itself to not discriminate against (the LGBT community).

Hill's tweets attacked Trump. It was a political tweet, possibly inappropriate, and they can fire her for it. But Hill did not attack a diverse group which ESPN was committed to not discriminating against (the stated reason for Schilling's firing).

So I don't see the double standard. You may disagree with ESPN's value to diversity and think its political, but not firing Hill does not make them hypocritical for firing Schilling.

EDIT: You may prove that ESPN has a political bias. But that is not the same thing as being a hypocrite.
