One thing that's pretty clear with Donald for a long, long time, is that civility just isn't an issue one way or another. Forget the general election. Just ask his GOP opponents. How many slurs and demeaning nicknames did he throw at those people.

He wants Heitkamp's vote on tax reform, and that's fine. He should be out there trying to get those votes. But the timing, right after the 'deal' with the Dems, it's just salt in the wounds the GOP is licking this morning -- at a minimum the GOP Senatorial Campaign Committee.

But it ain't just that Committee. At his appearance with reporters after the 'deal,' Ryan looked like a guy who'd just discovered his wife was making out with the postman. Let's just say McConnell looked 'muted.' Interesting times.
