Throw out crazy names so slightly less crazy names seem okay by comparison

I'm not sure which late night show host I stole that from, but it does help explain why we're hearing names like Bolton and Palin. Though he actually chose Bannon, so maybe the backlash on Bannon wasn't strong enough when his name was floated.

Maybe it's just you get your name thrown out there by Trump if you were 'loyal' to him. Loyalty seems like the most important quality he is looking for. And that loyal pool is smaller than most incoming Presidents.
