If Trump is ahead in the polls in one week, he wins.
America got to see a very clear distinction between Clinton and Trump last night. Clinton was poised, knowledgeable, and prepared. Trump seemed ready for the first 15-30 minutes, but then lost it. He would ramble without answering the question that was asked, he would make up words, he was advocating for unconstitutional positions, and he offered no details, only generalizations. How many of Clinton’s deals were the worst? Oh, and he showed he's still sexist and racist.
The objective watchers said Clinton won. I would consider the most objective watcher to be the online/offshore betting services who predict who will win the presidency, and their odds for Clinton winning steadily went up throughout the night.
Given that she won the debate, she needs to show improvement in the polls. If America was able to watch Trump last night, and still say, yeah, I want that guy to be my President and represent my country, then Clinton is in serious trouble. If she isn’t ahead in a week, she is basically done.
