A lot of the issues or questions are of course complex and yet for the most part you are supposed to answer in a few seconds or minutes. You should be able to go on for much longer with actual explanations. The questions could be broader and not be loaded or have gotcha aspects. There is not reason the public and candidates shouldn't know the questions ahead of time. They do not have to be moderated by journalists/tv hosts. I don't know how that became the rule or why they are supposedly some expert on moderating debates that they do so exactly no other time in their careers. These are just some of many things of why debates suck and that we could make debates great again.
