but it seems to me the Republicans would have been better served politically to have raised the issues, but to have waited until about now to really push the issues. Benghazi has been a 4 year rant. Except for the far right, most people have been burned out on it. Also, the cost of the investigation was a negative for the Republican congress. Even the email server issue is getting old. It just seem like bringing them up more recently and maybe raising the specter of an investigation would have been more effective politically. Clinton has been hammered since Whitewater, I guess, and I think 50+% of the people are tuned out on those issues. Those are just my thoughts and I am not much of a political junkie. Maybe the press would have kept running with it anyway?
