certainly don't approve of the GOP's backdoor methods for curtailing abortions on false premises (I'm actually repulsed by it), but I don't for a second think the left doesn't and wouldn't do the same thing for causes they believe in, in states where they have the power/support to get away with it. Admittedly wrt gun control, the 2nd Amendment and judicial review probably makes that more difficult, but that wouldn't stop either side from trying. Unfortunately.

Would you not agree that the DOJ's pressuring of Square, and other banks, to stop handling gun and ammo sales is pretty backdoor restricting of gun sales? (link below) The fact that you (or I) may like the results, doesn't make it any less repulsive of a technique for doing so.
