Put another way....
you think an arrogant, lying, absurdly self-entitled narcissist should be in charge of making decisions based on top secret information even though she's proven she either has no idea how to handle that information or doesn't care.
The nature of Top Secret stuff is such that you literally have no idea what effect it has and can't possibly say whether American lives were put at risk or not. Or whether national security was compromised or not. Chances are she did one or the other, but since you don't have access to that info, you can't make that judgment. "Didn't follow Internet protocol" is sort of like saying a drunk guy randomly firing a weapon in a public place shouldn't be prosecuted just for being clumsy.
Don't kid yourself - almost nobody here is actually arguing for Trump, either.
You're right on one count: the mainstream media would've buried this story. If it was someone else who signed a document stating she knew the laws concerning top secret info and then deliberately ignored those laws and then lied about how, why, and what at literally every opportunity, it might've been a bigger deal to the media, but Hillary is the chosen one, so getting in her way is verboten.
Of course, I doubt any of this will change your opinion, so lobbing the "you're too old to change yours" charge is silly. OK to be young and stubborn, but old and stubborn is wrong, I suppose.
