Theory. Usually products liability comes down to defective products or lack of warnings that some aspect is or can be dangerous.

Unfortunately here the gun worked exactly how it was designed to work, and did the one thing it was designed to do quite effectively. And good luck arguing that people dont understand guns are dangerous.

Per your request, I wont opine onthe rest although I find it odd that the 1400 SAT thing made such an impression. I wasnt under the impression it was that impressive a score (have met people who scored 1600 or high 1500s) and merely mentioned it one time because someone had asked about the college admissions game, what options people had, and how we went about choosing schools. The upshot was that my parents' wisdom and frugality saved me from becoming a Dookie!
