Her targets are, actually, usually on the left because the left dominates the environment where Paglia works, i.e. academia, the media, and the political world, or at least that part of it stretching from the upper west side to the lower east side, then from Manhattan all the way to such far-flung points as Rye, Harrison, Greenwich, and the Hamptons.
