For SDH and SchmHoo, this article hits really close to home and sums up my

opposition to Sanders's candidacy for president. Barney Frank's column (linked) also is spot on point. Thought I'd share since I know SDH has asked a few times why I have an issue with Bernie.

This pretty much nails it, as I lived making public policy in this environment for three years before cycling back into private practice, and am very proud of the work we did. It pains me to hear the lazy, pie-in-the-sky rhetoric I keep hearing from Sanders and those in his camp (to SDH's article the other day, people like Matt Taibbi) that trashes all that work and effort and all the effort thousands of people put in to make the country a better place. I don't think we can have a president with so little perspective or sense of reality (not to mention his shocking foreign policy shortcomings or his often completely ridiculous domestic policy ideas).

Anyhow, those of you who care (probably few) enjoy a little perspective.
