But how do we judge so quickly what rises to the level of sensationalism?


The murder conspiracies are 99.99999% likely fever swamp BS, but is it really so far-fetched that Scalia, who was know to have close relationships with big money big-hitters (Cheney, for one), might be involved in something less than savory? I don't suspect anything like that at this point, but the notion shouldn't be shunned out-of-hand as wild-eyed conspiracy. Categorizing the initial fact-finding reports surrounding his death--and that's all this seems to be at the moment--as "throwing dirt on" Scalia just seems reflexive.
