Point is many go there for many reasons. Our pastor & I went to the Russia


in the 1990s as part of the church building in Stavropol and Piatygorsk down in the Caucasus as part of the Methodist Church Russian Iniative going on then. That had nothing to do with politics. Nor did the visit there my friend and his wife took for an anniversary -- went on a long Volga cruise. He was an administrative judge on the Mine Safety hearings board and a Republican appointee.

Some people actually visit Russia, and some actually went during USSR days. That included businessmen on some occasions.
