Not supposed to be but I am sure the executive has a really good idea

how they would vote on a specific issue before nominating. and the senate will try to ask questions designed to shed light on it. It would be improper for a judge to answer directly how they would vote on specific issues though. of course, once they are there, you never know how they will vote.
