The crew that laid the line in my suburban neighborhood was made up of a 100% English-as -a- second/third language crew. Well, they installed a junction box tower on my neighbor’s property immediately adjacent to the road pavement (my neighbor had taken a few feet of the utility right of way to expand his driveway onto his neighbor’s property without her noticing).

Last winter, another neighbor was zooming around our cul-de-sac and crushed the GloFiber tower. It took four months for Glo to send out an English-speaking crew to fix the tower. Of course, they just replaced the broken tower with another tower.

Then yesterday a truck from “Tree Servces” driven by a young man who didn’t speak English, veered off the pavement in the cul-de-sac to allow a speeding neighbor to pass him (same speeder who took out the tower last winter). When he veered, his truck ate the newly replaced tower. The non-English speaking worker and his partner stopped and extracted their truck from the box.

Today, Glo sent out another English speaking crew and replaced the tower.
