Just split California into multiple states with 2 U.S. senators each


and probably more combined EC and congressional seats as well, since its about 10 short of each as it is today.

Northern Virginia should secede from the rest of Virginia, too.

Texas, Florida, or even Wyoming could do the same thing, though, but I think it may be a wash for those states, i.e., resulting in half red and half blue sub-states. I think California is more politically homogenous.
