Detention facilities are insufficient. More need to be funded through legislation. Same with immigration judges. There are far too few and cases cannot be dealt with expeditiously. Hence, lots of immigrants stay in the country for years without getting a hearing. Asylum laws are way too lenient and generous. Those laws need to be tightened up. Until then the admin has to obey them. (The Biden admin respects the law unlike the shit show you support.) The Lankford bill addressed all of that.
