Based on the 60s style protests, is it fair to say that Israel
Is losing the narrative battle in this conflict? I think so. Pretty amazing, since Israel should have the resources to mount a strong and coordinated marketing campaign compared to what the Gazans can put forth.
I think historians may look back on Netanyahu and this right wing government as the turning point in US / Israeli relations.
At this point, I don’t know what Israel can do to reverse the current trends. (Though the continued starvation of Gazans and military tactics that cause massive civilian casualties should be stopped immediately, IMO, not just because of basic human decency, but also to slow the narrative about their brutality. They need new tactics against Hamas).
Based on current trends, 20 years from now, Israel may have just a tiny fraction of the US support they have now.
